Nap Time!

We managed to get Maddy to throw away her pacifier nearly two months ago and sense then she refuses to take naps. On occassion she'll start to nod off during snack time but I can't get her down from her chair without waking her. Today we were sitting in the chair in her room reading books and she passed out on me. So here I sit holding her in my left arm andtyping with my right. I'm afraid to move, she'll wake up and be a mess all night! I have a few stories to share from the last few days but will save them for when I have two hands to type! I'm taking my last final for the quarter tonight and after that I'm afraid my two week vacation is going to go too fast. We have a lot planned!

These are from last weekend. We got lots of snow and Maddy ate 4 bowls! She loves to eat fresh snow.






Well she's still sleeping but I can't put off checking on dinner any longer so I'll have to wake her up. Hope you enjoyed the photos and videos.

Let's Try This!

My plan is to use this blog as a way to share photos and updates with family and friends. Ever since I had trouble with the Ringo photo site I've struggled with a way to share all the photos I take (I take a lot! And Maddy loves it!) and with a blog it's also going to be easier to keep everyone updated on how we are all doing and I can share funny stories about things Maddy says and does sometimes. I think I'll just start with the new year and go from there. Here are a few pictures from Christmas!

I didn't really get many pictures I guess. Here is a video of her seeing her gifts for the first time. As you can see she was very grumpy that she had to walk out to the living room all by herself (I normally pick her up and carry her) but when she sees the presents her face looks like she's in shock.
