If you look at the top right of the page there is a place to put your e-mail address that will send you an e-mail every time I make a new post. This way you will be told when there is an update and won't have to keep checking back to see.

5 Years!

Jon and I have been married for 5 years and they have really just flown by! We didn't get to do anything for a couple reason. #1 no babysitter. #2 no money. and #3 Bridgette had her 2nd bday party this weekend and my cousin Alisha had her Bridal Shower. Maddy and I are home once again from a trip to my parents house, we won't be going back for a while I'm assuming, not with gas prices. Hopefully Bridgette will get to come spend a few days in June though. Maddy got to jump on a trampoline for the first time in a while. After a few minutes she was loving it and screamed when she had to get off. We got to go out twice and jump. She's roaring at the tv right now, watching Go Diego Go. She slept on the drive back so I'm pushing back bedtime a bit. I'll give her a bath soon and then bedtime and then I have homework to do. Tomorrow we are going on our first play date with a moms group I find. It's not in this town but not even a half hour away. She needs the interaction so we're going to go check it out. I'm also going to call a lady I met at the place I get my hair done (she works there) this week and hopefully Maddy and I will be having a play date over at her house this weekend. She has 4 kids and the two youngest are a four year old girl and a boy who is the same age as Maddy.

Ok she's in bed and I didn't get to finish by putting any pictures up. I have to get to my homework though so I'll add them in the next couple of days.

Will it ever slow down?

I feel like the weeks and months are flying by. I blink my eyes and it's been a week. We are nearly halfway through 2008! I feel like it was just yesterday and it was like, "OMG it's the year 2000!" Doesn't help that Maddy is getting so big. Right now she's sitting at the table playing with playdough. She has been for nearly an hour. She rolls it out and then picks off piece by piece and stacks them. She doesn't try to eat it although the first day she played with it she tried to stick some up her nose and about 2 minutes ago I saw her lick it. Whatever I'm just happy for the break! It's Jon's day off but unfortunately we've spent it with him going to court then coming home and watching Maddy so I could study for a few hours and go take some exams. I think once we put her to bed we are going to rent a movie.

I had our garage sale this past weekend. Did ok. Sold the big things but I have a LOT of clothes left over. I have a few boxes ready for donating and then a few more that I'm going to sell on ebay. I'm trying to raise all the money I can for my trip to Chicago.

Maddy had a good time at "Murray Green's". She still insists on calling both of her grandma's Murray. She had some good times playing with Bridgette but they mostly fought over toys, me and my mom. The day we got home I was out in the living room and heard Maddy say, "No MY Murray Green!". Haha. I guess she misses Bridgette so much she has to argue with her even when she's not here. We plan on going back this weekend for Bridgette's birthday (she's going to be 2 already!) and my cousins Bridal Shower. After that it will probably be a few months again, darn gas prices.

I took some pictures of my niece Jessica who is 13, it was fun and I think her mom might want to kill me now for introducing her to eyeliner and mascara! haha. I'm posting a few of them here, Danyelle show Jessica and let me know what kind of scraps you want me to make and which ones to order for you.

Baby Wyatt is getting to be such a big boy already but I couldn't get many pictures of him like I had hoped. He was mesmerized by the light on my camera and pretty much refused to smile!
