Mid April already?

The last month has gone by so fast! I started school again about two weeks ago and it is tons of homework. Probably going to be one of my most challenging yet. After this quarter just two more classes left so I'm trying to look at the bright side.

We haven't been doing too much. For Easter Maddy and I went to my parents house a few days before. It had been a few months since we were there and Maddy loved spending time with her cousins. She loves baby "wyditt" as she calls him. She still talks about Bridgette a lot and has added Jess and "Poof" (Paige) to her daily conversations. She loves looking at her picture book and pointing them all out to me, including Alex. On Easter Sunday we drove home to be with Jon and then on Monday Maddy and I took off again to visit a friend in Tennessee. It was a nice little vacation and we had alot of fun. Here are a few pictures. She loved the waterfall and scared me because she was not afraid at all and wanted to climb through the fence, she's nuts!

Here are some Easter pictures first. This is a scrap page I made of her first Easter.

These are some tutu's I made for Maddy and Bridgette, they pretty much hated them... Maddy loved finding her basket and she loved coloring eggs the most I think.

She loved it so much I just let her keep coloring the same eggs over and over. Pretty soon they were all different shades of green.

We had some nice weather last week and we took advantage of it. Maddy loves to slide and I love to read so we've been sitting out there. Unfortunately my reading material has been textbooks. She carries these chalk eggs around in a cute little basket that her Grandma and Grandpa Murray sent for Easter and loves to put then down the slide and then go chasing them. We also got out to the outlet mall and got her some new summer clothes as she's grown a lot this year and definately needed them.

It's cold again this weekend and we're not happy about it. I just hope it warms up again quickly. We went outside yesterday anyways because Maddy was dying to water something. We planted some seeds inside the day before and she was upset that she couldn't use her new pink watering can. Her first try was a bit of a disaster, she spilled water all over herself. But she tried again and enjoyed it. She's really going to love when our flowers get bigger and we actually have something to water other than random bushes outside. The first picture is blurry because I took it as I was trying to save her from getting completely drenched.

Here is a short video from yesterday too. It's hard to hear her because of the wind.
